The Okanlomo Oodua and Bada Olubadan of Ibadanland, Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi, has passionately called on members of the JDS political movement, loyalists, and stakeholders across Oyo State to fully mobilize and canvass support for Senator Sharafadeen Alli ahead of the forthcoming governorship primary election of the All Progressives Congress.
In a statement personally signed by the respected businessman and political leader, Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi described Senator Alli as a grassroots-oriented leader whose experience, accessibility, and leadership qualities position him as the best choice to lead Oyo State under the platform of the APC.
According to him, Senator Sharafadeen Alli possesses a deep understanding of the needs and aspirations of ordinary citizens, particularly at the grassroots level, stressing that his emergence would guarantee meaningful development, improved infrastructure, youth empowerment, inclusiveness, and responsive governance.
Chief Sanusi further emphasized that Senator Alli’s representation would strengthen grassroots development and ensure genuine autonomy for local governments, thereby allowing resources and decision-making processes to directly impact communities where they are most needed.
“This is not the time for indifference. It is a defining moment for our people, our communities, and the future of grassroots governance. I call on every committed member of the JDS Group and all progressive-minded individuals to unite, mobilize, and work tirelessly for the emergence of Senator Sharafadeen Alli as the APC gubernatorial candidate,” the statement read.
He added that collective support for Senator Alli would pave the way for sustainable development, people-oriented leadership, and a government that truly listens to the voices of the masses.
Chief Sanusi urged party faithful and supporters across the state to remain committed, strategic, and peaceful throughout the primary election process while ensuring overwhelming support for Senator Sharafadeen Alli.
