The Chief Imam of Ibadanland and Grand Imam of Oyo State, His Eminence, Sheikh AbdulGaniy Abubakry Agbotomokekere, has extended heartfelt felicitations to the Asiwaju of Ona Ara Local Government and Bada Olubadan Designate, Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi, on the occasion of his birthday anniversary.
In a goodwill message personally signed by the Chief Imam’s Personal Assistant, Alfa Sulaimon Idris, and made available to newsmen, Sheikh Agbotomokekere described Chief Sanusi as a distinguished son of Ibadanland whose life exemplifies humility, philanthropy, and unwavering commitment to community development.
He noted that Chief Sanusi has consistently demonstrated a deep passion for service to humanity through his numerous contributions to education, youth empowerment, and religious harmony in Oyo State and beyond.
“Sheikh Agbotomokekere commends the Asiwaju of Ona Ara for his relentless support to Islamic scholars, traditional institutions, and socio-economic growth in Ibadanland. He prayed that Almighty Allah continues to bless him with sound health, wisdom, and long life to further his noble works for the advancement of humanity,” the statement reads in part.
The Chief Imam further urged the people of Ibadanland and Oyo State to emulate Chief Sanusi’s exemplary leadership, patriotism, and generosity, which have continued to inspire unity and progress within the society.
