The Institute of Information Management – Africa (IIM), a premier Data and Information Management Institute held its Annual Convention, Induction and Investiture ceremony in London, United Kingdom today, 19 November 2022.
At the highly cerebral ceremony, Dr. (Barr.) Adeola Adeleye-Fasubaa was conferred with the Fellowship of the Institute of Information Management (FIIM) and simultaneously inducted into the Management Advisory Board of the same Institute.
As President of the Oasis Organisation, UK and Oasis Empowerment and Advocacy Foundation, Nigeria, she is renowned in the fields of advocacy, women and youth development, empowerment, philanthropy, and humanitarian services.
In nominating Dr. (Barr.) Adeola Adeleye-Fasubaa, the Institute stated: “We believe that as a member of this Board, you will bring the much needed perspective to the work we do at the Institute. Your contributions will help the work we do to boost relevant and diverse regulations in the Data/Information Management Industry”.
Among the inductees were: His Highness Papa Paul Jones Eganda, High Chief Richmond McGrey, Dr. Pauline Long, Dr. Sheik Ramzy, Cllr Sunny Lambe, Funmi Akinsanya-Alake,
Dr Cosmas Anyakubo, Titilola Aboyade,
Nino Letteriello, Mewyn Pilley, Oliver John Glenndening and Pieter Nel.
Amb. (Dr) Oyedokun Ayodeji Oyewole, the President of the Institute, reiterated that the Institute relies on the vast knowledge and experience of the inductees to “help in policy formulation and provide guidance”.
