Egbeda/Ona-Ara2023: I Remain in PDP, ready to Support any Consensus Candidate, If..– Kunle Iyanda
PDP House of Representatives Candidate at the last general elections in 2019 and a leading aspirant for the coming elections in 2023, Dr. Ayokunle Iyanda, on Saturday, said he remains a card carrying member of people’s Democratic party, listed conditions he may consider to align with the party leader’s consensus arrangement for the emergence of a candidate for Egbeda/OnaAra House of Representatives for the coming 2023 elections among the aspirants in the Peoples Democratic Party.

Kunle Iyanda stated this in Ibadan, on Saturday, when he answering questions from the teaming members of the press.
He said he would agree to a consensus once it is the wish of the party.
The House of Representatives aspirant added that he had the privilege of flying the PDP ticket in 2019 and loose out to the main opposition and still in the party till date.
“I will agree on consensus if it is the wish of the party, because I can’t toy with my people most especially my supporters ‘Asejere Team’.
“Recently, have met with Hon. Busari Olayemi and we’ve been working together, I will do whatever I can to ensure that the PDP wins the election,” he said.
Iyanda on Presidency: Says “PDP need to reclaimed the presidency from the All Progressives Congress after thier tenure in 2023, and at of all aspirants my preferred aspirant is Alhaji Atiku Abubakar because in 2019 when he was contesting, I work with him and I saw his agenda and what he had for people and I was impressed and key to it and he hasn’t changed.”
He further used the opportunity to highlight what he has done for his people in Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency since 2019 after he loss at the poll:
1. ₦500,000 bank loan assistant for 50 people in Egbeda/ONA-ARA during the pandemic COVID-19.
2. COVID-19 Palliative Relief Packages distributed to the People of Egbeda and Ona-Ara Local Government
3. Helped secure job in Micro-Finance Bank for two people in Ona Ara.
4. Helped secure Job in one of National Bank for one person in Ona Ara while two people are waiting for their appointment letter.
5. Most people from Egbeda and Ona-Ara are presently engaging in several job in Oyo and Lagos State in my working company.
“Have not for once left my constituents behind, am always there for them even before calling upon me, because they are my family.”
