freshvoicenewsmedia.com.ng had reported earlier that the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the release of the 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination( UTME) results.

This online news platform understands that the JAMB Head of Public Affairs and Protocol, Fabian Benjamin, said this in a statement on Saturday, May 14, 2022.
Newsonline Nigeria reports that JAMB directed candidates to send UTMERESULT to 55019 using the same phone number that was used for JAMB registration 2022.
The statement reads: “To check the 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) result, all a candidate needs to do is to simply send UTMERESULT to 55019 using the same phone number that he/she had used for registration and the result would be returned as a text message. This is the only process of checking the 2022 UTME results for now as the Board has not uploaded it on its website for obvious reasons.
“In addition, candidates are forewarned that they would, as usual, receive all kinds of messages from desperate fraudsters on how to check their results different from the aforementioned one. Hence, the Board urges all candidates to ignore all such messages on how to check their 2022 UTME results as they are all products of deceit aimed at misleading them.
“The Board, in line with its desire to adhere to the ease of doing business protocol of the government, has emplaced this user-friendly and simplified process of checking UTME results. Furthermore, this simplified process would also serve to preclude the unconscionable exploitation of candidates by shylock business centres and cybercafés, which often take advantage of hapless candidates.
“The 2022 UTME began on Friday, 6th May 2022 and ended on Friday 13th May 2022,” the statement issued by JAMB on Saturday afternoon added.

2. How Do I Check My JAMB Result 2022?
There are several ways to check your JAMB result, you can check your JAMB UTME result with your registration number and also check your JAMB score offline via SMS without your registration number.
How To Check JAMB Result With Phone Number

3. Enter your Phone Number in the required column.
4. Click on ‘Check My Results’.
5. The portal will load your result if it’s ready.
Kindly visit the JAMB result checking portal via https://portal.jamb.gov.ng/eFacility_/CheckUTMEResult.
Input your JAMB Registration Number/ Registered number in the required column.
Finally, click on ‘Check My Results’, your JAMB score will display afterwards.
How To Check JAMB Result Via SMS 2022/2023
Currently, to check your JAMB Result through SMS, send UTMERESULT to 55019 or 66019 using the same number that was used for registration (you must have a credit balance of at least N50 on your line).
The result would be replied to as an SMS shortly after.

Approved Method to check your JAMB Result Online 2022:
Go to UTME Result Checker portal via https://portal.jamb.gov.ng/eFacility_/CheckUTMEResult.
Enter your 2022 JAMB Registration Number or Email Address in the required column.
Click on ‘Check My Results’.
The portal will load your result if it’s ready.
How To Check JAMB 2022 Result Using 55019 SMS
Make sure you have a credit balance of at least N50 on your line
Go to SMS and send UTMERESULT to 55019 using the number you used for registration.
After N50 charges deduction, your JAMB result will be send to you.
How to Print JAMB Original Result
Kindly log-on to your JAMB e-facility account, click on “Print Result Slip” on the left sidebar
Your transaction ID and details will be displayed
And you will be charged N1000 for this
Scroll down and tap on “Continue to Payment”
Proceed by tapping on “Pay Now”
Choose how to make payment: MasterCard, Internet banking, etc
Enter your CARD details and click on Submit
Once payment is done, you will be asked to provide the following:
a. Year of Exam
b. JAMB Registration Number.
Finally, you can proceed to print your result slip.
