A delegation from Ibadan Mega Voice (IMV), led by Aare Emmanuel Ibikunle Elereoba, recently had the honor of visiting the Honourable Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Hon. Wasilat Adegoke, to discuss and extend invitations for the upcoming events marking the first anniversary of Ibadan-born media professionals.
Aare Emmanuel Ibikunle Elereoba, speaking on behalf of the IMV team, warmly greeted Hon. Wasilat and highlighted the significance of the ongoing celebrations. He shared details about the first anniversary events, including the ongoing free Medical Outreach in Mapo, emphasizing the positive impact such initiatives have on the community.
During the meeting, Aare Emmanuel Ibikunle Elereoba also reminded Hon. Wasilat Adegoke of the crucial role she is expected to play during the IMV’s novelty match against the Ibadan All Stars on Friday. The match is a prelude to the main event against the Ibadan Zone House of Assembly Members. He acknowledged Hon. Wasilat as one of the distinguished personalities from Ibadan and Oyo State, set to be honored during these celebratory occasions.
In response, Hon. Wasilat Adegoke expressed her appreciation for the Ibadan Media professionals and extended her congratulations on the ongoing anniversary celebrations. She assured the IMV team of her full support and enthusiastic participation in both the novelty match on Friday and the grand finale events scheduled for Sunday.
