The Deputy Speaker of Oyo State, Rt. Hon Muhammad Abiodun Fadeyi, along with other prominent leaders of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ona Ara Local Government, has officially announced the candidacy of Glorious and Windapo for the positions of Chairmanship and Vice Chairmanship in the upcoming Local Government Elections scheduled for April 2024.
In a comprehensive meeting held at the Deputy Speaker’s lodge, attended by key figures such as Hon. Muhammed Abiodun Fadeyi, Hon. Mufutau Ogunremi, Hon. Sobalaje Bakare, Baba Bankole, Baba Oyadiran, Baba Dijo, Baba Rasaki, Alfa Adeyemo, and others, the leaders deliberated extensively on the strategies and objectives leading up to the forthcoming elections.
Presiding over the meeting, Hon. Abiodun Aderemi Fadeyi, the Deputy Speaker, emphasized the importance of unity among party leaders. He underscored the need for a cohesive front to ensure success in the 2024 Local Government Election in Oyo State.
During the meeting, the party leaders unveiled Glorious and Windapo as the PDP’s candidates for the positions of Chairman and Vice Chairman, respectively. Dr. Kolapo and Windapo were given the opportunity to address the PDP leaders in Ona Ara LG. Both candidates expressed gratitude to the leaders and passionately appealed for their support as they embark on this political journey.
As the election date approaches, the PDP in Ona Ara LG is poised for a united and focused campaign, rallying behind Glorious and Windapo to secure victory for the party in the upcoming local government elections.
