As the festive season draws near, the Supervisory Councillor for Environment in Ona Ara Local Government, Hon. Idrees Olapade, has extended his profound gratitude to the leadership of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and his mentor and father, Hon. Mufutau Ogunremi acknowledged his significant role played in his political journey. In a demonstration of goodwill, he empowered PDP faithfuls in Ward 8, Ajia, with cash to support them during the season.
In a statement made available to Freshvoice Newsmedia, Hon. Idrees appreciates the Oyo Deputy Speaker, Hon. Muhammad Fadeyi, and Director General, Oyo Liaison Office Lagos and Abuja, Hon. Ezekiel Temitope Oladimeji (OTOPE) for their steadfast support. He further commended the Executive Chairman of Ona Ara Local Government, Dr. Temitope Kolapo GLORIOUS, for his outstanding leadership and commitment to the progress of the local government.
Reflecting on his achievements in office, Hon. Idrees noted the successful installation of a borehole project in Bioku Araba Health Center in Ward 8 Ajia and other areas within Ona Ara, accomplished through UNICEF with Oyo RUSAWA and the Executive Chairman, Dr Temitope Kolapo GLORIOUS. This initiative, he emphasized, is aimed at improving access to potable water and enhancing the quality of life for residents.
Also, Hon. Idrees confirmed empowering the youth in the local government area in the distribution of different drugs initiative of the department of Environment.
Hon. Idrees also expressed gratitude to Hon. Ayuba, the Councillor representing Ward 8; Hon. Akeem Olalere, the Immediate Past Councillor; Hon. Ojo Ronke Etteh; and other leaders in Ward 8 and Ona Ara Local Government for their consistent support and mentorship.
In the spirit of the Yuletide season, he reassured party members of his dedication to their welfare, emphasizing his commitment to fostering unity and progress within the PDP.
