The Yoruba Youth Council Worldwide (YYCW) has paid an official courtesy visit to the management of Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State, to seek collaboration on an Agricultural Development Project aimed at strengthening food security and empowering young people in line with the Federal Government’s food security agenda championed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.
This was disclosed in a statement signed by Omoluabi Olanrewaju Dare, Director of Media & Publicity, YYCW Ogun State Council, and made available to newsmen in Abeokuta.

During the visit, the Vice Chancellor, represented by Professor Oladipo Olubomehin, Deputy Vice Chancellor and Chairman of the University’s Agriculture Committee, described the proposed partnership as “a synergy between academic research and grassroots participation that will deliver lasting impact in Ogun State and beyond.”
The YYCW delegation was led by Hon. Sunday Adebowale, Deputy National President, alongside Omoluabi Lekan Raheem, Omoluabi Seyi, Omoluabi Ayuba and Omoluabi Dare Olanrewaju.
Speaking on behalf of the Council, Deputy National President, Imol Sunday Adebowale emphasized that the initiative will “empower young farmers, create jobs, and ensure sustainable food production.” He added that the collaboration will serve as a model for agricultural innovation and community-driven development.
Also, Omoluabi Dare Olanrewaju highlighted that the partnership will “open doors for innovation, community development, and long-term socio-economic growth across Yorubaland and Nigeria at large.”
