The Yoruba Council of Youth Worldwide (YCYW) has expressed profound commendation to Hon. Abass Adigun Agboworin, for his outstanding role in facilitating the establishment of the Nigerian Air Force School of Finance and Accounts in Ajia, Ibadan.
The commendation follows the successful commissioning of the military institution on 21st May 2025, which marks a landmark achievement in strengthening military financial training and boosting national capacity development.
In a statement personally signed by the National Coordinator of the Yoruba Council of Youth Worldwide, Asoju Odo Alawode Rahmon Akintunde, and made available to newsmen in Abeokuta through the Publicity Secretary, Ogbeni Ajibode Abdulkabir the Council described Hon. Agboworin’s effort as a visionary stride that will not only enhance defense sector competence but also provide fresh opportunities for youth empowerment in the Southwest.
“This is a monumental legacy project that will significantly ease the path for young Nigerians, especially in the Southwest, to pursue professional careers in the Nigerian Air Force’s finance and accounts department,” the statement read.
The Council noted that the school will also serve as a major contributor to reducing unemployment in the region, stimulating local economic activities, and fostering educational growth.
“Hon. Abass Adigun Agboworin has once again demonstrated his commitment to purposeful leadership, national service, and youth development,” the statement concluded.
