A group of professional broadcasters hailing from Ibadan and beyond, The Elites Broadcasters (TEB), has received a notable recognition as a street was named in their honour at Arugboboisi Legacy Acres, Moniya-Ijaye, Ibadan.
According to reports from Freshvoice Newsmedia, the Mayor of The Elites Broadcasters, Aare Olabode Anisoloja, led other distinguished members of the group to witness the official land allocation exercise to rightful owners within the estate.
Speaking during the event, the Director of Arugboboisi Legacy Acres, Aare Samuel Ibikunle, revealed that the street naming was part of efforts to immortalize individuals and groups who have made significant contributions to society through their professions and legacies.
He further disclosed that streets within the estate were named after his late father, Pa Ezekiel A. Ibikunle, his late sister, Majasola Abake Ibikunle, and his twin brother, Emmanuel Ibikunle, among others — a gesture symbolizing honour, remembrance, and heritage preservation.
The exercise was marked by excitement and commendation from the beneficiaries, who applauded the management of Arugboboisi Legacy Acres for their transparency, organization, and commitment to community development.
