A group loyal to President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the South West Agenda (SWAGA’23), today Saturday distributed food items as palliatives to the less privileged across the 11 wards of Ona-Ara Local Government In Oyo State.
Addressing people at the symbolic distribution of food items at Gangansi Prymary School Tamerin Tioya off Akanran Road. Ibadan. the Local Government Coordinator of SWAGA’23. Messer. Yemi Akinwale “JP” said the group at the National body under the Chairmanship of Senator Adedayo Adeyeye, National Secretary Hon. Bosun Oladele, The Convener Hon. Oyetunde Ojo and Oyo State Chairman Hon. Sunday Adepoju felt the hardship being faced by the masses at this trying period, thereby deeming it fit to support the poorest of the poor Nigerians in its little way.
The Coordinator noted that the gesture was to appreciate the Local Government people for their unrelenting support for President Tinubu during the electioneering and to also reassure the masses that he would fulfil all his campaign promises to Nigerians.
He added that our President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu needs our daily prayers so that he can deliver the campaigns promises and beyond.
According to him, President Tinubu is a front-line political expert, charismatic, visionary, creativity leader, and personality with tremendous leadership traits that will certainly enhance the economic growth of the nation.
Hon. Yemi Akinwale urged Nigerians to be patient with the Asiwaju Tinubu-led federal government, reassuring them that the country would soon regain its rightful place in the comity of nations as a result of genuine and positive steps being taken by the government.
Also, speaking at the event, Alhaja Adijat Repete (Mama SWAGA) appreciates the members for the effort during the campaign and after the election. She said the group has perfected a plan to ensure that the target beneficiaries get the food.
The beneficiaries appreciated SWAGA’23, Hon. Yemi Akinwale and Alhaja Repete for being faithful and transparent to bring all the item to them, they said this shows that anytime they send him a message, it will get to them. They laud him to continue with his style of transparency in politics and pray for him. Representatives of each ward were fully represented.
