In a commendable act of generosity and commitment to educational development, Comrade Olaniyi Uthman Ademola, popularly known as Aluta Networking, has paid a courtesy visit to his alma mater, Methodist High School, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Ibadan, where he donated writing materials to students.
In a statement personally signed by Comrade Uthman Ademola and made available to FreshVoice Newsmedia, he emphasized his dedication to giving back to his former school and fostering positive change in the education sector.
“As part of my commitment to contributing to the growth of my alma mater and supporting quality education, I visited Methodist High School to engage with the students and school authorities. It was a fulfilling opportunity to encourage the younger generation and explore ways to enhance their academic experience,” he stated.
During his visit, Comrade Uthman Ademola addressed the students on the importance of discipline, academic excellence, and good conduct. He urged them to uphold the school’s reputation and be exemplary ambassadors wherever they go.
He also held a productive discussion with the school’s principal, Mr. Ajayi Alao, and other members of the management team, deliberating on potential collaborations for the school’s development. As part of his leadership advocacy efforts, he introduced the Policy Advocacy and Leadership Society (PALS), an initiative designed to groom young leaders in policy formulation, leadership ethics, and civic engagement.
To further encourage academic excellence and personal development, he distributed writing materials to various categories of students, including:
School Prefects – In recognition of their leadership roles.
Most Well-Dressed Students – To promote corporate dressing and decency.
General Students – To encourage a strong reading and writing culture.
