PDP: Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Reps. aspirants reject Consensus, agreed on Primary
The aspirants jostling to pick the people’s Democratic Party PDP ticket in Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency at the coming general elections as rejected the move to pick a consensus candidate for them or among themselves.
8 Aspirants showed face at the A3 venue of for the federal representatives aspirants as directed by the state governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde to dialogue with the aspirants to present a consensus candidate that will clinch the party ticket among themselves.
The meeting that lapsed for like 7hours yesterday where the aspirants screened by the panel provided by the party concluded with a signed document by the aspirants. They agreed that, the leaders should allow them to go-to primary to test their popularity and to pick a good and resourceful person among them by the party delegates.
The eighth aspirants that met at the A3 Hotel in Ibadan are, Hon. Akintomi Ojetunde, Hon. Chief Ezekiel Oladimeji Temitope, Dr. Olajumoke Olumide, Hon. Ebenezer Oluseye Gbaroye, Dr. Ayokunle Iyanda, Alahji Oke Akeem Taiwo, Hon. Busari Olayemi and Amb. Hon Ojoawo Joshua.
The aspirants were so elated as they will be able to exercise their civic right at the primaries.
