The Oyo State Government has announced plans to commence the rehabilitation of inner roads within the Bodija International Market in Ibadan.

Governor ‘Seyi Makinde made this known through his representative, Chief Babatunde Tijani, during the formal presentation of an 18-seater bus to the Ibadan Foodstuffs Sellers Association at the Bodija International Market.

According to Chief Tijani, the bus donation is aimed at facilitating the smooth movement of the association’s executive members within and outside the state. He emphasized that the gesture is a fulfillment of the governor’s commitment to supporting market associations across Oyo State.
He also reaffirmed the strong and cordial relationship between the present administration and market stakeholders, urging continued unity, collaboration, and support for the government’s developmental agenda.
Responding, the Babaloja of Bodija International Market, Chief Ismael Aderemi Jimoh, expressed deep appreciation to the governor for the kind gesture. He pledged the association’s unwavering support for the Makinde-led administration.
