Participants of the Oyo State-sponsored Agriculture and Agribusiness Training Program, coordinated by CSS Global Integrated Farms in Nasarawa State, from Ona Ara Local Government, have expressed their profound gratitude to the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, for his commitment to youth empowerment and agricultural development.
In recognition of his role in facilitating their nomination for the program, the participants also honoured the Executive Chairman of Ona Ara Local Government, Dr. Temitope Kolapo Glorious, with the Future Builders Award for his dedication to human capital development and economic empowerment.
Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Hon. Ajibola Abimbola Daniel stated that the award was a token of appreciation to Dr. Glorious, whose support enabled them to benefit from the training program, equipping them with skills to become self-reliant and contribute to the agricultural sector.
In his response, Dr. Temitope Kolapo Glorious expressed his gratitude for the honour, reaffirming his commitment to the growth and development of Ona Ara youths. He encouraged the participants to make the best use of their acquired knowledge and remain loyal to their roots.
“Do not forget Oyo State, do not forget the PDP, and most importantly, do not forget Ona Ara,” he charged them.
This recognition highlights the Makinde-led administration’s dedication to empowering Oyo youths through strategic agribusiness initiatives, paving the way for a more sustainable and productive future.
