Ona Ara LG. First Lady Presents Gift To First Baby Of Year 2022
The wife of the Executive Chairman, Ona Ara Local Government, Alhaja Dasola Sanusi, on Saturday presented gifts to the first baby of the year 2022 in the local government area.
Alhaja Sanusi, while receiving the first baby of the year at the Aba Emu Primary Health Center, called on pregnant women to always patronize government health facilities for safe delivery.

The first baby of the year, a girl was born at about early morning to the family of Mr and Mrs Bello.
Alhaja Sanusi, who presented the gift to the parents of the baby said it was important for mothers to give quality attention and priority to the well-being of their children in the overall interest of the society.
The wife of the executive Chairman said the government’s huge spending on infant and maternal health infrastructure could only be justified by a commensurate use of the modern facilities by the women and their babies.

She noted that the government’s efforts in stemming maternal and infant mortality would difficult to achieve if expectant mothers do not patronise modern facilities at the centres.

The Matron of the Primary Health Center, Mrs. Adesina who was represented by Mr
Adeniyi, thanked the local government wife for her regular visit and appealed to parents in the local government to ensure good upbringing of their wards.
The mother of the First Baby, Mrs Fatimo Bello appreciate the government efforts generally, said the executive Chairman wife’s gesture had lifted her spirits and thanked her for the love of given.
