The Deputy Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Honourable Muhammed Abiodun Fadeyi, yesterday, inspected the ongoing reconstruction of the first phase of the Olorunsogo-Ijebu Igbo road project in Ona Ara Local Government where he represents at the State Assembly.


The inspection tour of the project was to confirm the authenticity of some allegations coming out from a popular radio station in Ibadan on the project and to ascertain the quality and level of work so far done, with a view to ensuring that the standard of work and time frame was met.
He was accompanied by the People’s Democratic Party PDP members, led by Ona Ara Local Government Chapter Chairman, Hon. Mosobalaje Bakare, Oyo State Yoruba Youth Leader, Asoju Odo Rahmon Alawode among others.


freshvoicenewsmedia.com.ng gathered that the Deputy Speaker urged the contractor handling the project to ensure they meet the high taste of Ona Ara people at the first phase of the project without compromising quality as well as adhering to their traffic management plan.
The project manager of Peculiar Ultimate Concerns Limited, the company handling the project, Engr. Eleta Isreal assure of good and quality project and said, the firm was working round the clock to get the project delivered in September as the first phase to stop in Ariyo.


In his own speech, the PDP Chairman, Hon. Bakare applaud Governor Seyi Makinde for transforming Ona Ara to a mega place and appreciates the Deputy Speaker for answering the call of his people when he heard the story on radio on Sunday.
