The conferment ceremony, held on January 28, 2026, in London, saw Chief Sanusi awarded an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Business Administration (DBA) by GSFEN Business School, following formal approval by its Board of Governors. The honour celebrates his exemplary leadership philosophy, strategic innovation, and enduring influence across business ecosystems and community development initiatives.
Further acknowledging his deep-rooted commitment to humanity and social progress, GSFEN Worldwide Ltd also presented Chief Sanusi with the GSFEN Global Humanitarian and Community Impact Award, applauding his consistent dedication to social upliftment, economic empowerment, and inclusive, people-focused development.
In a related milestone, Ilaji Hotel & Sports Resort, Ibadan—a landmark hospitality and tourism project founded by Chief Sanusi—was honoured with the GSFEN Award of Excellence for Hospitality and Sports Development. The award highlights Ilaji Resort’s significant role in advancing tourism, job creation, and the adoption of international best practices within Nigeria’s leisure and hospitality sector.
