Director General, Oyo State Liaison officer Lagos and Abuja, Hon. Ezekiel Temitope Oladimeji, popularly known as “OTOPE, has reiterated his unwavering support for the Chairmanship candidates of Egbeda and Ona Ara Local Government Areas (LGAs) under the People’s Democratic Party (PDP). He commended the leadership of the party and stakeholders for the selection of Hon Sikiru Oyedele Sanda’ and Dr Temitope Kolapo “GLORIOUS” as the Chairmanship candidates, along with all PDP Councillorship candidates in the wards.
In a statement issued today, OTOPE highlighted Governor Seyi Makinde’s commitment to democracy and bridge-building across diverse segments of society. He emphasized the governor’s dedication to fostering relationships and collaborations among states for the development of Oyo State.
OTOPE affirmed that it is a priority of his office to ensure that Oyo State leverages federal-level opportunities for maximum benefit to its citizens. He applauded the recent appointment of seasoned politicians to the newly inaugurated “ELDERS FORUM,” distributed across all political zones, as a step towards inclusive governance.
The endorsement of the PDP candidates, according to Otope, aligns with the vision of the Governor Makinde’s administration to ensure that dividends of democracy reach every corner of Egbeda and Ona Ara LGAs. He assured residents that the chosen candidates are well-equipped to drive development initiatives that will positively impact the communities.
Furthermore, Otope reiterated his absolute support for Governor Seyi Makinde and the Omi TUNTUN 2.0 Agenda, which continues to yield historic socio-infrastructural achievements across Oyo State. He expressed confidence that under the leadership of Governor Makinde, the state will experience even more progress and development in the coming years.
