The Isokan Islamic Association of Nigeria celebrated a momentous occasion on Saturday during its 11th Ramadan Lecture, Awards, and Installation program, transforming the Elekuro High School Abonde playing ground into a vibrant carnival-like atmosphere.
Distinguished guests, including Dr. Kolapo Temitope GLORIOUS and Hon. Windapo Oluwole, representing the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) as the Ona Ara Local Government Chairmanship and Vice Chairmanship Candidates, graced the event with their presence.
The highlight of the event was the presentation of awards and the installation of esteemed individuals, including Alhaja Sakirat Tatalo as Iya Suna, Asiwaju M. Nurudeen as Nurul Islam, Alhaja Tawakalitu Abd Azeez as Imole Adiini, and Mr. Hammed Okanlomo as Akeweje Isokan Islam. Additionally, special recognition was bestowed upon Alh Teslim Animasahun, Mr. Kayode Odeyemi, and Pastor Gabriel Gaboye for their contributions to the community.
