Iyaloja General of Oyo State, Princess Folashade Azeezat Abeo NURUDEEN, has charged all Nigerians home and abroad most especially, the traders and artisans in the state, to let their thoughts, utterances and actions in the year 2023 be driven by love and peace.
Princess Abeo, who also doubles as the Southwest Coordinator, Market Traders Association of Nigeria (MATAN), made this call in her new year message made available to the press on Sunday 1st January 2023, where he listed love, unity and peace as a prerequisite for progress and national development.
In the same vein, the Royal Princess of Oyo town explained that for peace to reign in any given society, there is need for all to embrace love, unity, fairness and justice in their dealings with one another. “To achieve peace, love must first prevail,” he said.
Furthermore, Princess Folashade Abeo observed that the year 2023 presents to all a golden opportunity to hold conversations targeted at correcting the leadership deficit in the state and Nigeria as a whole.
Similarly, she enjoined all to devote out time and resources towards making Nigeria better, adding that one of the ways to achieve this is to get involved in the developmental process that determines the good leaders.
