The Jagunmolu Olubadan of Ibadanland, Chief (Dr.) Engr. Jubril Dotun Sanusi, Chairman of Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort, has presented a brand-new Hummer Jeep to the winner of Miss Oyo State 2024.
The 21st edition of the prestigious pageant, hosted by Mayor Isaac Brown of Fresh FM Nigeria, took place at Jogor Centre, Ibadan, and witnessed a gathering of notable dignitaries. Among them were the First Lady of Oyo State, Her Excellency, Engr. Tamunominini Olufunke Makinde, Senator Monsurat Sunmonu, Dr. Yinka Ayefele (MON) and other prominent women leaders.
Miss Oladimeji Mercy, a 19-year-old student of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, was crowned Miss Oyo State 2024. Her victory earned her the grand prize of a Hummer Jeep, presented by Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi in recognition of her excellence.
Speaking through his representative, Mogaji Nurudeen Akinade, Chief Sanusi commended the organizers for their dedication to youth development and the promotion of cultural values in Oyo State. He expressed his unwavering commitment to initiatives that empower and inspire the younger generation.
