The Median Isese Day is a momentous occasion that holds great significance in our rich Yoruba heritage. It is a time when we come together to celebrate our traditions, reaffirm our commitment to our cultural values, and give thanks to our ancestors for their guidance and protection.
We are particularly pleased to note that under the leadership of Governor Seyi Makinde, Oyo State has continued to promote inclusiveness and respect for diverse cultural and religious practices. Governor Makinde’s administration has consistently demonstrated a commitment to the preservation and promotion of our cultural heritage, which includes recognizing and respecting the rights of practitioners of Yoruba Traditional Religion.
The YCYW, Oyo State Chapter, commends Governor Makinde for his inclusive approach to governance and his efforts to create an environment where all citizens, regardless of their religious beliefs, can coexist harmoniously. This is indeed a testament to the spirit of unity and cultural tolerance that defines our great state.
As we celebrate the Median Isese Day, let us all renew our dedication to the principles and values that define Yoruba Traditional Religion. Let us continue to promote peace, harmony, and cultural understanding in our communities.
Once again, we extend our warmest felicitations to all Yoruba Traditionalists on this special day and express our gratitude to Governor Seyi Makinde for his unwavering support for our cultural heritage.
