Freshvoice Newsmedia can exclusively report that Agidigbo 88.7 FM, one of Ibadan’s most prominent radio stations, has officially expanded its presence internationally with the opening of a new office in the United Kingdom. The move is part of Agidigbo FM’s strategic plan to extend its reach and connect with its growing diaspora audience.
This new development comes shortly after the Chairman of Agidigbo FM, Dr. Oriyomi Hamzat, was honoured with an Award of Excellence by the Oriyomi Hamzat Diaspora Forum in London, a testament to his outstanding contributions to media and community engagement. The recognition has further solidified Agidigbo FM’s commitment to serving its audience both locally and internationally.
The London office will serve as a hub for content creation, business development, and closer interaction with the station’s audience across Europe. In line with this expansion, Agidigbo FM is set to begin recruitment on Friday 6th September, 2024, seeking talents across various media and administrative roles to support its new international operation.
Dr. Hamzat expressed his excitement about the milestone, stating, “The opening of our London office is a significant achievement for Agidigbo FM. It symbolizes our mission to bring the voice of the people beyond borders, ensuring that our listeners in the diaspora are part of the conversation.”
Recruitment details and application procedures will be announced on Agidigbo FM’s official platforms.
