In a commendable act of philanthropy, Hon. Chief (Dr.) Ezekiel Temitope Oladimeji, popularly known as OTOPE, has provided significant relief to the Okada riders of Ona-Ara Local Government. As the Director-General of the Oyo State Liaison Office in Lagos and Abuja, Dr. Oladimeji fulfilled his promise through the OTOPE Foundation by distributing free Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) to over 200 Okada riders.

The distribution event, which took place at the BOVAS Filling Station on Jegede, along Akanran Road in Ibadan, saw each rider receiving 10 liters of petrol. This initiative, branded as the OTOPE FOUNDATION FUEL PALLIATIVE SUPPORT, comes amid a period of fuel scarcity and the removal of fuel subsidies by the Federal Government.
The beneficiaries expressed profound gratitude to Dr. Oladimeji, with many, including Tunde Alade, highlighting the critical impact of this support. Alade noted that the fuel palliative would significantly alleviate the challenges brought about by the fuel crisis, and he extended prayers for Dr. Oladimeji’s continued success and prosperity.

Dr. Oladimeji has also announced plans for a second phase of the fuel palliative support, which will focus on aiding Keke Maruwa drivers. Additionally, the OTOPE Foundation is currently running a two-month free hands-on training program for residents of the Egbeda-Ona-Ara Federal Constituency, further underscoring the Foundation’s commitment to community support and development.
