The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) consensus candidate for the Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency, Hon. (Dr.) Ezekiel Temitope Oladimeji, popularly known as OTOPE, on Friday, April 10, 2026, paid a courtesy visit to Engr. Jubril Dotun Sanusi (JDS), the Asiwaju of Ona-Ara and Okanlomo Oodua, in appreciation of his support.
The visit followed Engr. Sanusi’s recent public endorsement of Dr. Oladimeji’s ambition for the House of Representatives in the 2027 general elections.
According to a statement released by his Media Aide, Mr. Segun Akinlabi, the meeting provided an avenue for Dr. Oladimeji to personally express gratitude to a respected leader and influential stakeholder in the constituency.
Dr. Oladimeji, who is also the President of the OTOPE Foundation, described Engr. Sanusi as a father figure, mentor, and inspiration, noting that his support carries significant weight in the ongoing political process.
“I am here to sincerely appreciate my father, mentor, and role model for his steadfast support and belief in this vision. His encouragement means a great deal to me,” he said.
The visit further underscores the strengthening political synergy within the Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency, as stakeholders continue to consolidate efforts ahead of the 2027 elections.
