I passed through Olorunsogo early this morning and witnessed the proactive action of our Chairman, Hon. Dr. Temitope Kolapo Glorious, in clearing the dump and refuse at the Olorunsogo entrance of our local government. This significant and commendable move deserves heartfelt recognition for the remarkable work undertaken.
The area had long been an eyesore and an environmental hazard, presenting a negative emblem for our local government and adversely affecting our well-being. Hon. Glorious’ decisive action to address this issue reflects his commitment to the community and his ability to deliver on promises.
In less than three weeks since assuming office, Hon. Glorious has taken proactive steps to clear the dump area at Olorunsogo, marking a significant achievement. This action not only underscores his dedication to the well-being of our community but also sets a precedent for effective governance and environmental stewardship. It is a testament to the fact that “Omo Ona-Ara Isè yaa,” signifying a step ahead of many predecessors’ accomplishments.
At this juncture, it is crucial that we, as a community, recognize and support this government. The cleanliness of our environment directly impacts our health and quality of life. Therefore, I urge all residents of Ona-Ara Local Government to take inspiration from Hon. Glorious’ leadership and maintain this newfound cleanliness by refraining from dumping refuse by the roadside.
