The Amdalat Oloyede Foundation has once again demonstrated its unwavering commitment to educational empowerment by donating over 10,000 exercise books and other essential writing materials to two secondary schools in Ibadan, Oyo State. The beneficiary schools, Wesley College of Science Elekuro and CAC Primary School, Eleta Ibadan, received the items in a gesture aimed at supporting students’ academic development.
Speaking during the distribution exercise on Thursday, the Proprietor of the Foundation, Brig Gen Mutiu Abiola Oloyede, represented by Prince Oloyede-Asanike Abioye (Jnr), reaffirmed the Foundation’s dedication to promoting education and empowering future leaders. He emphasized that initiatives such as this align with the Foundation’s vision of creating opportunities for young minds to thrive academically.
“Our societies are in dire need of more individuals and organizations like the Amdalat Oloyede Foundation, who not only recognize the challenges faced by our communities but also take bold steps to alleviate them. By providing essential tools for education, we are bridging gaps and uplifting the most vulnerable,” a school official lauded the Foundation’s impactful contributions.
One of the beneficiaries, Akinade Sodiq, a student, expressed his heartfelt gratitude, stating: “I’m so happy that I was given this book. I need books, and my parents said they don’t have money now. Thank you, Amdalat Oloyede Foundation.”
