Adebayo Olugbenga Adedamola, widely known as FRYO, has secured the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) nomination for the 2026 Osun State governorship election.
The primary election, conducted on Tuesday in Osogbo amid heightened security, witnessed an impressive turnout of accredited delegates.
Announcing the outcome, the presiding electoral officer revealed that FRYO polled 919 votes out of 957 valid ballots, sealing a landslide victory.
In an unexpected twist, the ballot also featured the name of Governor Ademola Adeleke, despite his earlier public declaration of withdrawal from the party.
