PICTURES: Oyo State LG. Secretariat Catches Fire in Ibadan
The popular Lagelu Local Government area Secretariat situated at Lalupon, Ibadan got burnt Wednesday evening.

This sudden news was reported around 10:23pm through the Facebook page of Hon. Ayo J. Salami who’s the official Media aide of the Executive Chairman of Lagelu LGA, Hon. Kazeem Adeyemi.

Lagelu local government Secretariat was tonight reported to have been engulfed by a wild fire outbreak.
The executive chairman of the local government,
Hon. Kazeem Adeyemi who received the report of the incident, had immediately moved alongside other emergency crew, to bring the outbreak under control.
Hon. Kazeem Adeyemi in a situation report delivered from the incident area, stressed that the outbreak was traceable to a “bushfire” ignited from the surrounding area of the secretariat.
The executive chairman has however confirmed that the emergency crew was able to quench the outbreak within an hour long of a subduing effort.
