2023: Former NYCN President and a Senatorial Aspirant, Comrade Wale Ajani, Promises Purposeful Representation
The Former President, National Youth Council of Nigeria NYCN and a senatorial aspirant for Oyo Central senatorial district, on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Comrade Wale Ajani, has promised to address the lingering problem of poverty, unemployment and educational backwardness of his people if elected as senator to represent the good people of Oyo Central Senatorial District of Oyo-State.

Comrade Wale Ajani, who stated this during a press briefing Organized by his “SoroSoke Team 2023” in Ibadan on Wednesday, noted that the inability of the subsequent representatives to give priority to the welfare of their constituents gave rise to the challenges being experienced in the society today.
While justifying the reason for the Media Parley, Comrade Wale Ajani said he considered journalists as the best set of people to attach to any brand at this digital period.
According to him, his decision to contest as Senator for Oyo Central was borne out of his desire to bring dividend of democracy to the doorsteps of his people with a promise to bring to bear exemplary leadership and ensure that democratic governance prevailed.
He highlighted his experience as a member of the National CONFAB in 2014 as a President of National Youth Council of Nigeria NYCN to represent the younger generation and the future Leaders.
He expressed displeasure over poverty, unemployment, educational backwardness and total neglect which, according to him, the implementation of the report of the 2014 National CONFAB will solve part of the problem facing the crumbing unity of Nigeria.
Comrade Wale Ajani, specifically promised to make youth empowerment and general well being of the people his priority, if elected, with a promise to turn around the fortunes of the district by giving them the opportunity to experience real democratic dividends.
