The Yoruba Council of Youth Worldwide (YCYW) Oyo State Council extends warm congratulations to former Governor of Oyo State and Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba (Senator) Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, on the joyous occasion of his 80th birthday.
In a statement jointly signed by the Chairman of the Council, Asoju Odo Alawode Rahmon, and the Publicity Secretary, Omoluabi Sodiq Eruobodo, the Council hailed Oba Ladoja as a true blessing to the Ibadan traditional institution, Oyo State, and the nation at large.
The statement highlighted Oba Ladoja’s unwavering commitment to promoting the rich culture and heritage of Ibadanland, as well as his significant contributions to the development of Oyo State and Nigeria throughout his illustrious career.
“Oba Ladoja has been a beacon of leadership and integrity, always championing the progress of our great state and the nation. His contributions to governance and traditional leadership continue to inspire both the young and old,” the statement read.
The Oyo Youth Council concluded by praying to Almighty Allah to grant Oba Ladoja a long life filled with good health, prosperity, and continued service to his people.
