OLUBADAN: Oyo State Yoruba Youth mourns Monarch’s Death
Yoruba Youths under the aegies of Yoruba Council of Youth Worldwide (YCYW) Oyo State, has described the death of one of its first class monarch, Oba (Dr.) Saliu Akanmu Adetunji Ajé Ogugunuso I, Olubadan of Ibadanland, as a monumental loss.
It said the ancient town (Ibadan) witnessed unprecedented progress during the 5-year reign of the Olubadan of Ibadanland, adding that he had etched his name in gold in the annals of the ancient city of Ibadanland.

The Yoruba Youths Council National State Chairman, Aṣojú Ọdọ Alawode Rahmon Akintunde and its state working committee, in a statement at the burial of the monarch held at his popoyemoja Palace, said the Ibadan City witnessed physical development and its indigenes progressed tremendously since the monarch’s enthronement in 2017.
Yoruba Youths Council, says the late Kabiesi stand on a policy tried to brought in to the Ibadan Obaship by the last administration in Oyo State is what the Yorubaland and Ibadan ancestors can’t forget. May Almighty God forget all his shortcomings, Aṣojú Ọdọ Alawode added.
