The Elite Broadcasters (TEB), a coalition of Ibadan’s leading media personalities, presenters, and digital influencers, paid a solidarity visit to renowned Ibadan-born Fuji maestro, Alhaji Adebisi Taye Currency, today to recognize his contributions and call for peace across the Fuji community.
In a statement signed by TEB’s Mayor, Aare Olabode Anisoloja and Head of Media and Public Relations, Mr. Idris Animasaun, and released to news outlets on Tuesday, the group affirmed its support for Taye Currency and acknowledged his vital role in preserving Ibadan’s cultural heritage. During the visit, Mayor Aare Olabode Anisoloja, of Agidigbo FM, praised Alhaji Taye Currency for his unwavering dedication to promoting Ibadan’s rich traditions and cultural values through his music and influence.
The delegation included prominent TEB members such as Gbenga Olayiwola Oyato, Head of Yoruba Programs at Lagelu FM; Aare Emmanuel Ibikunle Elereoba, Head of Operations at Success FM; Capt. Atanda Mighty, the Group Head of Security and Strategies; Aare Samuel Ibikunle ArugboBoisi, Head of Program of Tiwa-n-Tiwa FM and Head of Research and Strategies, FRESH FM Nigeria; and Asoju Odo Alawode Rahmon Akintunde, Senior Publisher of Freshvoice Newsmedia and Chairman of the Yoruba Council of Youth Worldwide (YCYW), Oyo State Council.
