The Elite Broadcasters are pleased to announce that Mr. Idris Animasaun, our Director of Media and Public Relations, popularly known as Longman, has been released by the Department of State Services (DSS), Oyo State Command. Mr. Animasaun, who was invited for interrogation earlier today at approximately 10:00 AM, has now safely returned to his colleagues after spending several hours in DSS custody.
We would like to thank all members of the media community, concerned citizens, and colleagues who stood in solidarity with us during this period of uncertainty. Your support and swift reactions were invaluable in ensuring that the situation was resolved promptly.
While we are relieved by Mr. Animasaun’s release, we urge the DSS to continue fostering transparency and clear communication when engaging with the media and other concerned bodies. We believe that collaboration between security agencies and the media is essential for the progress of our democracy, and we hope for a future built on mutual respect and understanding.
