Akinyele/Lagelu: Akinyele PDP Leadership Suspends Leaders Who Worked Against Gov Makinde’s Directive
Leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Akinyele Local Government led by Engr. Julius Akinsola, Co- Chair(1) Chief Gbolagun, Co- Chair(2) Oloye Akin Aderibigbe, unanimously agreed on the suspension of some of the leaders for working against the order of the Governor in the last Akinyele/Lagelu Federal Constituency Primary Elections.

Reviewing the post primary election situation in their meeting today, it was reappraised that the leadership jointly agreed to work for the only candidate who came out for the contest from Akinyele Local Government in person of Hon Yusuff Olakunle Saheed, MON whose achievements and contributions can never be underestimated in PDP since 2012.
Before the primary election, the leaders met all the 37 Delegates and urged them to vote their own candidate for the election with the instruction that the aspirant should move round to still solicit the support of these delegates.
It would be recalled that Kunle Yusuff MON moved round from ward one to ward 12 seeking the favor and blessings of these delegates.
Two days before Primary, the Executive Chairman of Akinyele Local Government called for the Leadership meeting on the Instructions of His Excellency Governor Seyi Makinde in favour of Hon. Kunle Yusuff. Hence the leadership sent for alt The 3Ad-hoc delegates from each ward to a meeting held at the Party’s Office where the Chairman also called to deliver the message of the Governor to the whole house himself.
