The Chairman, Oyo State Pilgrim Welfare Boards (Muslim Wing), Sheikh Hashim Atere visited the head of the Olanase Islamic House, Sheikh Mur’tadho Akanbi Olanase.

While welcoming him, Sheik Akanbi Olanase felicitates and discussed with the newly appointed chairman, some pertinent issues concerning the operation of Hajj in Oyo State with Pilgrims and charge him to foster a strong relationship between National Hajj Commission of Nigeria NAHCON and Oyo State pilgrim board.
Also, Baba Olanase praised Governor Seyi Makinde over the appointment and his ways of dealing with Muslims and Alfas in the state and prayed to God for His abundant guidance and protection on Governor in the office and after 2027.
The Chairman, Sheikh Hashim Atere assured Baba Olanase and the entire Alfas in the State that their suggestions and concerns would be welcomed in his office. He emphasised commitment to ensuring a smooth and successful 2024 Hajj operations that will provide a safe, enjoyment and spiritually enriching experience for all Oyo State pilgrims.
The scholar, Baba Lanase also shared his perspectives on the Hajj exercise and tabled his recommendations that would assist him and put more beautiful colours to the government of Engr Seyi Abiodun Makinde in this Omituntun 2.0
The Chairman was accompanied by the Chief Imam, Omituntun Central Mosque, Sheikh Imam Mojeed Adebayo Olanase who acknowledged the contribution of his Boss, Governor Seyi Makinde over the years and prayed for him for more wisdom to driving Oyo State to the promised Land.
Sheikh Mur’tadho Akanbi Olanase, the Grand Khalifah of Lanase home and abroad now congratulated and prayed for the new Chairman for guidance, wisdom, protection and successful tenure in the office.
