In a remarkable gathering, Dr. Yinka Joel Ayefele (MON), Chairman of Fresh FM Nigeria, played host to the leading media practitioners in Oyo State, the Ibadan Elite Broadcasters (IEB), at the Music House Challenge in Ibadan.
Expressing a sense of camaraderie, Dr. Yinka Ayefele emphasized, “You guys are indeed Elite, and I don’t want you to be seeing me as a Radio owner; be seeing me as one of you guys.” He acknowledged the unique role of IEB in the broadcasting industry and commended their intelligence and distinctiveness.
During their joint welcome addresses, Aare Olabode Anisoloja, the MAYOR of IEB, and Aare Samuel Ibukunle Arugboboisi formally introduced the IEB and extended an invitation to Dr. Yinka Ayefele MON for a special dinner scheduled for February 11, 2024.
Dr. Ayefele encouraged the IEB members to reflect on and appreciate the platforms that provide them with an opportunity to be heard. He shared his motivation for establishing a radio station, highlighting his passion for radio broadcasting and the industry’s positive impact.
