The National Coordinator of the Yoruba Council of Youths Worldwide (YCYW), Asoju Odo Alawode Rahmon Akintunde, has joined countless well-wishers to celebrate the birthday anniversary of the Chief Imam of Ibadanland, Grand Imam of Oyo State, and Grand Patron of the League of Imams and Alfas of Yorubaland, Edo, and Delta States, His Eminence, Sheikh AbdulGaniy Abubakry Agbotomokekere.
In a personally signed statement made available to the press, Asoju Odo Alawode described His Eminence as a rare spiritual gem whose enduring wisdom, humility, and fatherly disposition continue to inspire generations of youths across Yorubaland and beyond.
“Baba Agbotomokekere remains a guiding light for the youth constituency. He is a spiritual leader who hears the voice of the younger generation and constantly offers us knowledge, counsel, and support in our journey toward growth, leadership, and righteousness,” the statement read.
Asoju Odo prayed for the continued good health, long life, and spiritual strength of His Eminence, urging other religious leaders to emulate the Chief Imam’s accommodating nature and firm commitment to youth development.
He concluded by reaffirming the readiness of the Yoruba youth community to continue supporting Baba Agbotomokekere’s vision for peace, unity, and spiritual advancement in Yorubaland.
