YCYW Oyo State Council Inaugurates Steering Committee For Omoluabi Festival, Appoints Omidan Jimoh Kauthar As C’ttee Chair

Ahead of the most anticipated first of its kind Ọmọluabi Pàtàkì Award Festival, The Oyo State Council of the foremost Yoruba Youths interest group in Yoruba Land; Yoruba Council of Youths Worldwide under the able Chairmanship of of Asoju Odo Alawode Rahmon Akintunde, has inaugurated a Central Planning Committee (CPC) to host the maiden annual Omoluabi Pàtàkì Day & Awards (Oyo State), the Committee been saddled with this responsibility is to be chaired by the Ibarapa born State Vice Chairman of the council in person of Omidan Jimoh Kauthar.
In his statement while addressing the correspondent of freshvoicenewsmedia.com.ng, the Oyo State Council Chairman, Aṣojú Ọdọ Alawode Rahmon Akintunde made it known at a get-together event organized to mark the Eid-l-adha festivities with the teaming members of the council.

Aṣojú Ọdọ Alawode further disclosed that the essence of the inauguration is to constitute a formidable, effective and productive committee that will plan, organise, direct, and coordinate the nominations for the event.
This maiden event is aimed at recognizing, encourage and strategically staged to focus on prominent and illustrious sons and daughters doing excellently well in their respective fields/profession with utmost possession of the virtues and ethos of Omoluabi in Oyo State.
“It is also aimed at mobilizing teaming youths of the State in order to re-educate and re-orientate them on the essence and advantages of being Omoluabi in the society, he said.
He further explained that Omoluabi demonstrates and exhibits the inherent virtue and value of Iwapele. Iwapele is ultimately the basis of moral conduct in Yoruba culture and a core defining attribute of an Omoluabi.
Aṣojú Ọdọ Alawode Rahmon concluded by narrating the categories of the awards to be;
1. Most Reputable Personality Award (Ọmọluabi Pàtàkì)
2. Integrity Brands of the Year (Ẹya Ile-iṣẹ Pàtàkì)
3. Integrity YOUTHS AWARD (Ọdọ Ọmọluabi Pàtàkì)
