YCYW Ogun State Council to Hosts Maiden Omoluabi Sports Festival 2022, Unveils Logo
Yoruba Council of Youths Worldwide (YCYW) Ogun state Council has mapped out plans to host Ogun State Omoluabi Sports Festival 2022 slated to take place from August 23 to August 27 at MKO International Stadium, Abeokuta.

According to the statement, YCYW has gotten approval from Ogun state Government through the Ministry of Youths and sport Development and other relevant Agency for the successful host of the event.
Adebowale while addressing newsmen at the Council Secretariat, Abeokuta said the maidan edition of the Festival was born out of YCYW quest and desire towards emancipation and empowerment of the Youths constituency and grassroot Footballers from all the 20 Local governments across the state.
“To develop and discover young talents embedded in our Youths which have been in idleness without uttermost utilisation.
“Highlights of this epoch history making event will be centered on Youths development and emancipation because,we shall be bringing international football scouts to select best players that will be taking overseas to play professional and international football across the World.
” We call on all well meaning progressive Leaders, captains of industry, Traditional rulers, Non-governmental Agency and Corporate individuals to support this Laudable program in other to collectively engaged our Youths , which at the long run will bring an end to Youths negative contributions to social vices and thuggery.
“YCYW was Established upon the burning desire to appropriate a robust channel for the Yoruba reorientation , revitalisation and rebirth of the Yoruba age long concept and homogenous spirit of Omoluabi ,alajobi and Isokan.
“However,in an attempt to further our patriotic service to our beloved Gateway state and the entire Youth constituency ,Executives and members of YCYW, Ogun state Council officially unveiled the Logo of maiden Omoluabi sports festival .
“YCYW Ogun state Council being the umbrella body of all Yoruba Youths organization worldwide Founded by Aare Barr Oladotun Hassan Esq.as the Global President, with His Imperial Majesty Oba Babatunde Ogunwusi Enitan Ojaja 11,The OONI of ife as the Royal Grand Patron and all other Royal father’s, Kabiyesi in Ogun state and Yoruba land are in support of the group.
“The group is predicted on Awoism credo and Vision aimed at promoting mass orientation towards the noble advancement of the Yoruba traditions, norms, values,and Social Cultural heritage amongst the Yoruba Domiciled within Ogun state, the Southern parts of Nigeria , Nationwide and in Diaspora,” he said.
