The Executive Chairman of Ona Ara Local Government, Dr. Temitope Kolapo GLORIOUS, has praised the decision of former Oyo State Commissioner for Finance, Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi, to join the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) after leaving the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Dr. GLORIOUS described the development as a significant political gain for the PDP, noting that Adekanmbi’s defection is a testament to the rising influence, unity, and credibility of the ruling party in Oyo State.
The official declaration, held today at Ward 4, Gbada Efon, Ona Ara Local Government, drew a large gathering of influential party figures and stakeholders. Present at the event were: Alh. Dr. Temitope GLORIOUS commended Adekanmbi for choosing to align with the progressive vision of Governor Seyi Makinde and the PDP family, stressing that his wealth of experience and political strength will further stabilize and energize the party.
He affirmed that Ona Ara remains committed to providing a welcoming home for all progress-minded individuals who are ready to contribute to the growth and development of the local government and Oyo State at large.
