In a vibrant event, Hon. Musibau Sanusi Shaba, the Executive Chairman of Ona Ara Local Government, graced the People Democratic Party’s (PDP) New Year party, where the campaign council committee, coded GLOWIN24, was unveiled. Chief Waheed Ajao Adurodekun has been named the Director General.
The Director General of Media and Public Relations, Mr. Rahmon Alawode, highlighted the unity within the PDP in Ona Ara. The party aims to secure victory in the forthcoming Local Government elections in April, with a focus on the Chairmanship and Councillorship positions.
Expressing gratitude for the party’s strength, Hon. Musibau Sanusi Shaba extended best wishes to Dr. Kolapo Temitope and Hon. Windapo Oluwole, emphasizing their candidacy’s success. He congratulated Hon. Olapade Fatai that set to be inaugurated as Vice Chairman of Ona Ara Local Government to overseeing the affairs of Inukan Local Council Development Authority (LCDA), and Hon. Adekunle Morufu representing Ward 11, designated as the House Leader and to be inaugurated on Monday.
PDP Senatorial Chairman and SSA to Governor Seyi Makinde on Sustainable Development Goals, Hon. Mufutau Ogunremi, and the Director General of GLOWIN2024, Chief Waheed Ajao Adurodekun, urged party members to focus on unity and continuity in governance. They emphasized support for Dr. Kolapo Temitope, popularly known as Glorious, Hon. Windapo Oluwole, and all Councillorship Candidates from Ward 1 to 11.
Dr. Kolapo Temitope Glorious, the PDP Chairmanship Candidate, expressed gratitude for the collaboration with Hon. Musibau Sanusi Shaba. He called on PDP members to maintain a positive outlook and offer prayers for the success of his governance after assuming the position in April.
