A member of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Waheed Akintayo has commended the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Oyo State chapter for appointing Hon. Michael Ogunsina as the party’s acting publicity Secretary.

Ibrahim Salami as the Chairman and Sole Administrator of Pace Setter Transport Services Limited and Hon. Busayo Ogunlade on his re-appointment as the Chairman of Oyo State Road Maintenance Agency (OYSROMA), saying their appointments has further confirmed that the party and government of Engr Seyi Makinde is youth friendly.
Hon. Waheed Akintayo who is representing Oluyole State constituency in the 10th House of Assembly stated this while reacting to the trio of Ogunsina, Dikko and Busayo’s appointments in a release he personally issued and made available to journalists.
Hon. Akintayo popularly called “Ilumoka Presenter” said he was happy and elated when he received the news of Ogunsina’s appointment because of the fact that he has effectively discharged his duty as the youth leader of the party.
According to the statement, “Hon. Michael’s appointment as the Acting Publicity Secretary is as a result of his unwavering commitment to the ideals and principles of the party which has had tremendous impact in the victory recorded by the party in the last general elections in the State.”
Similarly, Hon. Akintayo hinted that both Hon. Dikko and Busayo actively mobilized and engaged the youth in the build up to the last election which culminated in the unprecedented victory recorded by the party.
Hon. Akintayo who expressed optimism that the new appointees will do well and excel in their new assignments, however, pledged his total support and that of teeming members of the party in Oluyole State constituency for them in the task ahead.
