Ona Ara LG Chair, Dr. Temitope GLORIOUS Presents Letters of Appointment and Portfolios to Supervisory Councillors
The Executive Chairman of Ona Ara Local Government, Dr. Temitope Kolapo GLORIOUS, has officially presented appointment letters to the newly inaugurated Supervisory Councillors of Ona Ara Local Government. This was confirmed in a press statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Chairman, Mr. Rahmon Alawode, and made available to newsmen on Thursday evening.
The statement noted that during the Supervisory Councillors’ first official meeting with the local government management team, portfolios were allocated to each of the Honourable Supervisory Councillors.
The Supervisory Councillors and their assigned portfolios are as follows:
– Sunday Adeniji – Agriculture
– Kamoru Oduola – Budget and Planning
– Adeniran Adekola – Works and Services
– Abiola Jubril Tolani – Youth and Sports
– Yakubu Adurodekun – Education
– Temilade Tosin Olaoye – Primary Health Care
– Idris Olapade – Environmental and Health Related Matters
– Amidu Ajibade – Arts, Culture and Tourism
– Akinnawonu Esther Olusola – Women Affair
– Saheed Hassan Adeyemo – Inter and Intra Governmental Affairs
– Taofeeq Jamiu Adeyemi – Special Duties
After the event, Dr. Kolapo charged the Honourable Supervisory councillors to get to work immediately, emphasizing the importance of swift action, much like his own commitment upon being inaugurated by His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde.
Speaking on behalf of the Supervisory Councillors, Hon. Adekola Adeniran, the Supervisory Councillor for Works, expressed gratitude to the Local Government Chairman and the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Ona Ara chapter, led by Hon. Mosobalaje Bakare, for the opportunity given to him and his colleagues to serve in this capacity.
“We will not disappoint the Local Government Leadership and the party that has entrusted us with this responsibility,” Hon. Adekola concluded.
