Ona Ara Council Boss mourns the death of Chairman League of Imams & Alfas and Chief Imam of Ona Ara Local Government, Sheikh Lateef Salawudeen.
The Chief Imam died on Sunday 12th December, 2021 and he has been buried according to Islamic rites.
Hon Sanusi Musibau, in a statement sent his condolences to the people of Ona Ara Local Government, NIREC and Muslim Ummahs.

The Council Boss described Sheikh Salawudeen’s death as a loss to the state. He noted that the Chief Imam spent his days praying and teaching values and precepts of the Holy Quran.
Alh. Salawudeen lived a pious , worthy and highly commendable life that will be remembered by posterity. I implored all Muslims in the council to immortalise him by living the virtues of love, peace and good neighbourliness he lived and propagated; the chairman said.
The chairman prayed that Allah would grant the soul of the departed good rest in Al Janah Fridaoz and comfort the family.
