OLUBADAN: Ààrẹ’birin (Hon.) Princess Folashade Olabanji-Oba Mourns, describes the monarch death as national loss
The Executive Vice Chairman, Ikorodu LGA, National Deputy Chairman, Association of Local Government Vice Chairmen of Nigeria, and the Global President, Yoruba Council of Women World-wide (YCWW), Ààrẹ’birin (Hon.) Princess Folashade Olabanji-Oba who is also the Founder/DG., Asiwaju Distinguished Ambassadors Movement has expressed shock over the death of Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba (Dr) Saliu Akanmu Adetunji Ajé Ogugunuso I, in a statement made available to FVNews in Ibadan, noted that the the committee of National Vice Chairmen and Yoruba Women Group received his death with heavy heart and gratitude to God for a life well lived.

While condoling the Oyo State government and people of Ibadanland, the progressive women leader described the death as a loss to the nation and the Nigerian progressive community.
Titled ‘Condolence message on the death of Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba (Dr) Saliu Akanmu Adetunji Ajé Ogugunuso I, we noted: “We received the death of the monarch with heavy heart and gratitude to God for a life well lived. His death is a loss to the nation and the Nigerian progressive community likewise all the Yorùbá speaking land.
“We join the people of Oyo State and the people of Ibadanland, to pray for repose of the soul of the great monarch.
“We pray that God Almighty grant the family the fortitude to bear this heavy loss. May God reward all the good works of Oba Akanmu Adetunji, forgive his limitations and bless what he left behind. May his soul rest in peace!” Ààrẹ’birin (Hon.) Princess Folashade Olabanji-Oba noted in the statement.
