The foremost movement in support of Senator (Aremo) Solomon Adeola Olamilekan -YAYI for Governor of Ogun State come 2027, has called on the popular singer Habeeb Okikiola popularly known as Portable Olalomi, to join their movement as they continue to build massive support base for the Ogun West Senator ahead of 2027 elections.
The group Director General, Ogbeni Ajibode Abd’kabir while addressing the press in the early hours of Tuesday, June 20, 2023, opined that the leadership of the movement have decided to extend the hand of fellowship to the popular singer who was seen to have released a trending video where he was seen to have been purchasing the picture portraits of the President, His Excellency Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and the incumbent Governor of Ogun State, His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, MFR, CON, while also giving a public endorsement to the ranking Senator and history maker, the Aremo of Yewa Land, by saying YAYI lo kan i.e YAYI is next to be Governor of Ogun State come 2027.
Ogbeni Ajibode further stressed that “already it is very visible to the blind that Ogun State has never had such and incredible Senator that has much to do for his constituents and has been doing excellently well in his legislative duties even before he became the Senator of Ogun West”.
“If you look around Ogun West today, you will see the touch of Senator Yayi across all communities, ranging from road constructions/rehabilitation, empowerment programs for thousands of youths, provision of basic amenities for secondary and primary schools and so many empowerment programs for traders, we make bold to say that such enormous projects has never happened before in the history of Ogun West Senatorial district from any of our senators in the past. So all this his achievements has made it very easy for our mobilization”.
“it is also important to note that since 47 years of the creation of Ogun State, there has not been a Governor from the Ogun West district which is one of the three (3) districts that made up the State, and for the sake of unity, fairness and equity, it is only imperative that other districts give room for Ogun West to also produce Governor of Ogun State come 2027.
