In a groundbreaking move that has redefined grassroots development in Ogun Central, Distinguished Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (YAYI) CON, FCA, FCTI, FPPI, representing Ogun West Senatorial District has extended his Renewed Hope Initiatives (RHI) Empowerment Programme to Ifo Local Government, bringing economic empowerment and hope directly to the people.
The historic empowerment event held across Agbado, Oke-Aro, Akute, and Isheri communities of Ifo Local Government on Saturday, May 17, 2025, was celebrated as a bold demonstration of Senator YAYI’s commitment to inclusive development beyond his Ogun West Senatorial District. The good people of Ifo, long yearning for impactful attention from the federal level, hailed this intervention as timely and transformative.
Hon. Sunday Adebowale, the Coordinator of Senator YAYI’s Projects Monitoring Team and Empowerment in Ifo, expressed that the initiative is aimed at driving economic growth, stimulating entrepreneurship, and creating job opportunities in Ifo LGA. He emphasized that the empowerment was devoid of favoritism—targeting genuine entrepreneurs through an open and fair process.
According to him, “Senator Adeola, popularly known as the Grand Commander of Projects and Empowerment, has once again proven his dedication to uplifting lives and building a sustainable middle class. With this intervention, Ifo is now firmly on the map of prosperity.”
Highlights of the event included the distribution of motorcycles to lucky beneficiaries through an open-street raffle, and direct cash grants for business expansion—designed to catalyze small and medium-scale enterprises.
